A Better Way to Start New Projects
We get it, setting up a new project shouldn’t feel like filling out a long form just to get started. So back in July, we gave the whole project creation flow a refresh to make it simpler, faster, and a little more personal.
What’s better now?
Instead of one big form, you will walk through a quick two-step setup. It keeps things clear and helps you focus on what actually matters.
Step 1: Fill in the Basics + Add a Visual
Start with the essentials, project name, customer, template, start and end dates. Then, give your project something visual to help it stand out:
Upload an image (could be a logo, moodboard, or even a quick sketch)
Pick an icon from our built-in set
Use an emoji if thats more your style
A simple visual like a logo or emoji can make it much easier to spot the right project, especially when you are juggling multiple tasks. It saves time and keeps your team focused on what matters.
Just a few seconds of setup now saves you a lot of clicking around later.

Step 2: Assign Workspace Members
In the second step, you can directly add members from your workspace to the project. Assign people right away so everyone has access from day one, reducing follow-ups and setup time.
How to use it?
Click Create Project from the Projects page.
Fill out project details and set an image/icon in Step 1.
Add relevant workspace members in Step 2.
This update makes it easier to launch projects with the right context, the right people, and a touch of personality, all in just a few clicks.
